Abstract: A brace and traction device and associated methods of operation. In one embodiment, the device incorporates a forwardly open head and jaw brace which is adjustably supported vertically above a forwardly collar member. The brace and the collar member are adapted such that the brace is able to mate with the collar member while still being able to rotate to the subject's left and right while remaining planar to the collar member. Adjustment may be accomplished for example manually or via an electronic motor controlled by a control mechanism and microprocessor. The microprocessor may be adapted to store information regarding a user's sessions, and facilitate communication with patient and physician personal devices, thus sending these data from recorded sessions. The processor element may also be adapted to implement therapy sessions based on physician-entered program specifications, or based on pre-programmed specifications.

Abstract: Improved apparatus and methods for non-invasively assessing one or more hemodynamic parameters associated with the circulatory system of a living organism. In one aspect, the invention comprises apparatus adapted to accurately place and maintain a sensor (e.g., tonometric pressure sensor) with respect to the anatomy of the subject, including an alignment apparatus which is separable from an adjustable fixture. The apparatus moveably captures the sensor to, inter alia, facilitate coupling thereof to an actuator used to position the sensor during measurements. In a second aspect, improved sensor apparatus is disclosed adapted to minimize the effects of shear during sensor movement and monitoring as well as maximize the lateral and proximal search area available to the sensor within the apparatus. Methods for positioning the alignment apparatus and sensor are also disclosed.

Abstract: A time attendance system, including a time attendance clock, designed to be used in harsh conditions, such as outdoor job sites. A portable touch button, including a passively readable code, is brought into contact with the time attendance clock so as to create a time attendance record stored in the clock. Visual indicators and audible notification alert the employee of the acceptance of the act. Periodically, the time attendance records are retrieved from the time attendance clock, such as by using a hand-held electronic device which communicates in a wireless manner with the time attendance clock.

Abstract: A breathing apparatus includes an air delivery assembly and a nasal interface. The air delivery assembly includes at least one passage couple to a supply of air. The nasal interface includes a resilient pad having a first side configured to releasably couple with the air delivery assembly. A second side of the resilient pad is configured to engage at least a portion of a users nose. The nasal interface further includes a first air passage and a second air passage. The first air passage and the second air passage are configured to provide an air pathway between the air delivery assembly and a respective first nasal passage and second nasal passage of the user.
