Abstract: A method of fabricating a metallic magnetic tape, which method comprises the steps of cold rolling a laminated magnetic metal and non-magnetic metal while annealing the metals to stretch the metals into a thin form, and shaping the metals so that the final working rate in terms of the area reduction rate is higher than 95%. This method is suitable for mass production on an industrial scale.
