    Abstract: A bug swatter, and a method of using a bug swatter, the bug swatter comprising: a swatter body comprising a swatter head connected to a handle portion, wherein the handle portion can be manipulated by a user so the user can advance the swatter head towards a bug to swat the bug; and a cover member connectable to the handle portion and moveable relative to the swatter head, wherein the bug swatter can be moved from an uncovered configuration where the swatter head is uncovered by the cover member to a covered configuration where at least a portion of the cover member covers at least a portion of the swatter head.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to the administration of cyanohydroxybutene (CHB) to eliminate acinar cells in a subject. Subcutaneous injection of CHB at a sub-lethal dosage caused apoptosis of the substantially entire population of acinar cells. The pancreatic lesion has marked early edema with limited inflammatory infiltration, rapid synchronous onset of acinar cell apoptosis and advanced atrophy with a severely limited regenerative response. There is further provided methods of treatment of acinar cell carcinoma and pancreatitis.

    Abstract: A lock and bolt assembly, particularly for use on roller shutters for lock-up shops and other business premises which comprises a cylinder lock of the "cam" type which is rotatable through 180 DEG between first and second catch positions (in both of which a key can be inserted into or withdrawn from the lock); a bolt 12 slidable in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder lock; and a cam plate 5, suitably of generally rectangular shape, mounted on the rear end of the cylinder of the lock so as to be rotatable with the cylinder, the cam plate 5 being arranged to engage behind the internal end of the bolt 12 to lock the bolt in an extended position when the cylinder lock is in the second catch position. Rotation of the cylinder lock to the first catch position withdraws the cam plate 5 from behind the end of the bolt 12 and enables the bolt to be retracted by means of a pin or other rigid element inserted into a hole in the bolt. In a second embodiment, a spring loaded flap is mounted on the bolt and extending beyond the internal end of the bolt so that in its rest position it engages with the cam plate. This flap can be pivoted by manual operation from the rear of the assembly so that the flap disengages from the cam plate to permit retraction of the bolt even while the cylinder lock remains in the second catch position.

    Abstract: A security post assembly consisting of a base tube to be sunk into the ground or other base and a post which fits into the mouth of the tube is lockable by a mortise lock mounted inside the post above ground level. The bolt of the lock protrudes outside the post and into a receiver structure carried on the underside of a cover plate which is hinged to the base tube and which can be swivelled to stand up beside the post. The receiver structure comprises a U-shape flange which fits inside a U-shape guard plate attached to the post.
