Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title liq. fuel which is free from pollution from a stably suppliable material, by mixing a soln. obtd. by reacting acetylene with a mixture of water and methanol with a component obtd. heating an arom. hydrocarbon and an alcohol. CONSTITUTION:Calcium carbide is reacted with water in a reaction vessel 1 to form acetylene, and the acetylene is introduced into a reaction vessel 2 containing a mixture of water and methanol to effect reaction in the presence of a catalyst. Thus, acetaldehyde and ethylene are produced. These products are brought into contact with a catalyst 9 so as to form alcohol and acetal. The soln. A thus obtd. is introduced into a mixing vessel 4. Separately, an arom. compd. is dissolved in an arom. hydrocarbon in a dissolving vessel 3 to prepare a benzene ring hydrocarbon component. Alcohol is added, thereto heated and diluted. Then, the component is introduced into the mixing vessel 4 to be mixed with the soln. A. The mixed soln. is transferred to a storage tank 5, in which maturation and stabilization are accomplished. Thus, a chemically synthesized liq. fuel is obtd.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively utilize resources and obtain a petroleum fuel substitute by selecting and recovering useful components from industrial wastes and converting the components into a fuel compsn. CONSTITUTION:An alcohol mixture formed in an alcohol-ketone purification line A and an aliph. and arom. hydrocarbon mixture formed in a hydrocarbon purification line B are delivered to the first mixing vessel 5, where they are gently stirred and mixed under a low-temp. heating. The resulting mixture is delivered to the second mixing vessel 6, where it is diluted with a higher alcohol and thereby stabilized as a liq. After being aged in an ageing vessel 7, the diluted mixture is mixed with a ketone or a higher alcohol from a preparation vessel 8 as a solvent for permeation and dispersion.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fuel usable as a partial substitute for petroleum fuel, by mixing a mixed solution of an acetylenic hydrocarbon and acetone containing dissolved metallic ion with a mixed solution of an aromatic hydrocarbon, acetone and an alcohol. CONSTITUTION:Calcium carbide is made to react with water in the presence of a catalyst under high temperature and pressure, the produced hydrocarbon is subjected to addition reaction with acetylene and compound with metal ion and the obtained mixture is dissolved in acetone. The objective fuel can be produced by mixing said mixture with a dilute benzene-ring hydrocarbon produced by dissolving an aromatic hydrocarbon in acetone and an alcohol.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an industrially producible chemical liquid fuel by a simple means from a raw material to be supplied stably, by dissolving or dispersing an acetylenic hydrocarbon, a paraffin hydrocarbon and a metallic ion in water and making them exist in it. CONSTITUTION:Calcium carbonate is reacted with water under pressure in the presence of a catalyst to give an acetylenic hydrocarbon, which, together with acetone blended with water, is dissolved in water. On the other hand, the paraffin hydrocarbon, acetone and an alcohol are heated in water and pressurized to produce a dilute paraffin component. Both the components are blended, a salt having high water solubility and metallic powder are added to the blend and the blended solution is aged and stabilized to give the aimed chemical liquid fuel.
