    Abstract: methods and devices for dry cleaning of gases from dust; applicable in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, construction and other industries. SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction of gas laden with dust into dust collector; fraction classification of dust particles; initial separation of rough fraction; changing direction of gas flow through 180 deg and classification with periodic changing gas flow from ascending to descending directions. In this case, different dust fractions are collected to different receivers. Dust collector swirler is made in the form of hollow disk with spaced blades located on upper end of axial branch pipe for intake of dust-laden gas. In addition, dust collector is provided with shield in the form of truncated cone located under swirler and secured with its small base to disk lower edge and with cylindrical partition secured to disk lower edge from side opposite to shield. Receiving cylinder is installed coaxially to outlet pipe of cleaned gas and has inclined bottom in its lower part and located with gap between its upper edge and lower wall of swirler. Cylindrical partition is installed between receiving cylinder and cleaned gas outlet pipe. Axial outlet pipe for discharge of cleaned gas is installed concentrically to dust-laden gas inlet pipe. In this case, wall of dust-laden gas inlet pipe, lower wall of swirler, shield wall and cylindrical partition are arranged to form interconnecting cavities. EFFECT: higher degree and efficiency of dust collection due to reduced secondary carry-over of finely divided dust and extended functional potentialities of apparatus. 4 cl, 3 dwg

    Abstract: inorganic materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of production of chemically precipitated chalk that can be used in food, perfume-cosmetic, medicinal, chemical and other branches of industry. Method of production of chemically precipitated chalk involves slaking limestone with water at 80-90 C, carbonization of milk of lime to yield chalk suspension, separation and drying the end product. Limestone slaking with water is carried out up to formation of 10-14% suspension of milk of lime and before carbonization milk of lime suspension is subjected for treatment. Carbonization is carried out with gas of limestone-roasting furnaces with carbon dioxide volume part 20%, not less. Chalk product is separated under vacuum 80-90 Pa and drying up to attainment of bulk density value 0.25-0.35 g/cm3, not above. Optimal conditions of the process are the following: for slaking technological lumpy limestone with mass part of sum of active calcium oxide and magnesium oxide (as measured for calcium oxide) 70%, not less, is used; milk of lime suspension is subjected for treatment up to attainment of density value 1.06-1.11 g/cm3 at 20 C; gas of limestone-roasting furnaces is purified preliminary in dust-collecting chamber, cyclone and water countercurrent settlers; product is dried in loop-shaped driers using natural gas combustion products as a heat carrier; after drying product is ground.     Abstract: production of lime applicable in chemical industry as process raw material and in metallurgical industry, as fluxes. SUBSTANCE: method includes crushing of limestone to obtain fractions sizing 40-150 mm, burning of lumpy limestone in shaft kiln with combustion products of fuel in form of natural gas counterflow from top downward successively in three process zones: zone of heating with temperature up to 900 C, zone of burning itself with temperature of 900-1200 C, and zone of cooling with temperature of 40-70 C. Natural gas is supplied to kiln at pressure of 2- 45 kPa. Limestone is crushed by screening. Lime is subjected to crushing after cooling zone in jaw and hummer crushers. A portion of kiln gas with concentration of carbon dioxide of, at least, 20% is utilized and directed for production of white black and chemically precipitated chalk. Carried out additionally is classification to fractions of 40-70 and 20-40 mm, with fraction of limestone lumps sizing above 150 mm amounting to not more than 5%, and those sizing less than 70 mm are not in excess of 30%.
