    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave heating device capable of heating exhaust gas to a predetermined temperature in a short period of time by making a microwave absorbing heating element efficiently generate heat by small electric power, enabling the miniaturization of a device itself, being effectively mounted even to a vehicle, and heating exhaust gas to the predetermined temperature or higher and efficiently removing a contaminant by improving microwave absorption efficiency, namely, the microwave heat conversion efficiency of the microwave absorption heating element.

Heat is generated by outputting a microwave from a microwave output means and making each microwave absorption heating element absorb the microwave to heat exhaust gas flowing in the vent pipes.
