Abstract:
841,959. Cores for dynamo-electric machines. ETABLISSEMENTS LABINAL. July 16, 1957 [Aug. 22, 1956], No. 22462/57. Class 35. Core construction wherein each pole consists of two magnetically separated radially-extending parts linked by a common coil. As shown in Fig. 12, magnetic bars or segments 3 have a half-pole secured to each edge and are separated by non-magnetic material 11 while in Fig. 7 the bars 3 are separated by air spaces 4 and are held by discs 8 serving also as end brackets, the whole being split on a diammetrical plane. In another form the yoke comprises a cylinder with an axially extending slot cut therein between each pair of pole halves.
