A monofluoroalkyl ester of phosphoric acid represented by formula (I), [wherein Rf represents a perfluoroalkyl group or an omega -hydroperfluoroalkyl group having 3 to 21 carbon atoms; B represents a divalent group bonding the Rf group and a chain of -(CH2)n-; m is an integer of 0 or 1; and n is an integer of 1 to 4] is obtained at high selectivity by reacting a fluoroalkylated alkanol represented by the formula: Rf-Bm-(CH2)n-OH, wherein Rf, B, m and n are each as defined above, with orthophosphoric acid in such proportions that 0.5 to 2.0 moles of the latter is used per mole of the former by heating while effecting azeotropic dehydration or vacuum dehydration.
Abstract:
A surface treatment composition comprises a polyfluoropolyether silane. The polyfluoropolyether silane and the surface treatment composition are produced by reacting a perfluoropolyether-containing compound and a hydrosilane in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst and an isomer reducing agent.

Abstract:
In a surface treatment composition comprising a fluorine-containing polymer, a content of a non-reactive fluorine-containing polymer is less than 25 mol% (on the basis of the total amount) which may be present together with a reactive fluorine-containing polymer in the surface treatment composition and is expressed by a formula: Rf-R 1 -R 2 -F (wherein Rf represents a perfluoroalkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 16; R 1 is a group expressed by a formula: -(OC 3 F 6 )a-(OC 2 F 4 ) b -(OCF 2 ) c -; R 2 is a group expressed by a formula: -(Y) d -(OCF 2 ) e -(CH 2 ) f -; and Y is an oxygen atom or a divalent polar group). According to the surface treatment composition of the present invention, a surface-treated article obtained by applying it to a base material can have a hard-to-slip surface, so that the surface-treated article can be held with a chucking tool firmly and stably, and thereby processability is improved.
