Abstract: A cement/asphalt mixture and processes for its production are disclosed. The cement/asphalt mixture is characterized in that the surfaces of aggregates are covered by asphalt particles prepared by decomposing an asphalt emulsion and a hydraulic inorganic material and water are present in the interstices between the aggregates. One process for producing the mixture is characterized by mixing 2 to 12 parts (in terms of solid content) of a cationic or anionic asphalt emulsion with 100 parts of aggregates and mixing the resulting mixture with 1 to 20 parts of a hydraulic inorganic material. Another process for producing the mixture is characterized by adding 2 to 12 parts (in terms of solid content) of a cationic or anionic asphalt emulsion with a mixture composed of 100 parts of aggregates and 0.1 to 6 parts of an alkaline compound of a divalent metal and, after mixing them, mixing the resulting mixture with 1 to 20 parts of a hydraulic inorganic material.
