Abstract:
A system that facilitates collecting data is described herein. The system includes a digital camera that is configured to capture images in a visible light spectrum and a near-infrared camera that is configured to capture near infrared images, wherein a field of view of the digital camera and the field of view of the near-infrared camera are substantially similar. The system further includes a trigger component that is configured to cause the digital camera and the near-infrared camera to capture images at a substantially similar point in time, and also includes a mounting mechanism that facilitates mounting the digital camera and the near-infrared camera to an automobile.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for automatically order-picking or consolidating articles of a wide variety of different formats and varieties, using the following steps: separating the stored articles, storing the articles in a rack bay, retrieving the articles and palletizing them. The method is predominantly characterized in that the articles which are to be order-picked for an order are put together in a rack bay already in the sequence which is necessary for palletizing. The invention also relates to an installation for implementing the method.
Abstract:
A set of compaction rams and/or die-plates for a tabletting machine has all of the compaction rams and/or die-plates of the set furnished with a code containing at least the following information: (a) a label for the set of compaction rams and die-plates; (b) an individual label for each compaction ram and/or die-plate within the set; (c) data effective to critically dimension the compaction ram and/or die-plate which contains the code; and (d) data containing service life information for the compaction ram and/or die-plate which contains the code.
Abstract:
A large format digital camera has a primary camera system configured for collecting panchromatic image data and a secondary camera system configured for collecting color image data. The secondary camera system has an optical system that has a longer focal length than the optical system of the primary camera system. The resolution of the secondary camera system is greater than the resolution of the primary camera system. The footprint of images produced by the primary camera system is larger in size than the footprint of images produced by the secondary camera system. Images produced by the primary camera system offer information for performing image-based georeferencing by means of photogrammetric triangulation. Images produced by the secondary camera system offer a high-resolution narrow angle color image suitable for use in ortho image production.
