PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial up router for mobile object packet communication which dial-connects fixed side LAN and a mobile side terminal in mobile object packet communication through a telecommunications provider. SOLUTION: The dial up router for mobile object packet communication is provided with a function for giving a connection request to a mobile radio device connected to the telecommunications provider by a radio signal from fixed side LAN which is connected with the telecommunications provider by a private line and constitute an peculiar network and selecting a network to which fixed side LAN emitting the connection request belongs from the identification code of a transmission source, which the telecommunications provider gives, a function selecting the arrival procedure of a packet signal peculiar to the telecommunications provider which is previously set, a function for selecting a procedure which dial-connects a system to fixed side LAN of the transmission source, which belongs to the selected network, in accordance with the selected arrival procedure and a function for connecting the terminal of fixed side LAN to the mobile side terminal. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment connectable to a plurality of communication lines and freely and properly using the communication lines according to purposes and uses, with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The communication equipment includes: a plurality of interfaces 11a-11c provided for two or more kinds of communication lines, an A/D conversion part 12 for analog/digital converting analog information input from the interface parts 11a-11c, a DSP 31 for performing information processing to digital information output from the A/D conversion part 12, and an input switch part 14 for selecting one of the plurality of interface parts 11a-11c and supplying the analog information input from the selected interface part to the A/D conversion part 12. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent double encryption so that communication over a network will not slow down. SOLUTION: A double encryption preventing device is provided with a decryption processing section 103a, which determines whether the data inputted from a sender's terminal is encrypted. When the inputted data are encrypted, the decryption processing section 103a decrypts the inputted data and supplies the data to VPN routers 102A and 102B. When the inputted data have not been encrypted, the decryption processing section 103a supplies the inputted data to the VPN routers 102A and 102B without decrypting the data. Whether the data is encrypted by the sender's terminal which transmits the data, the decryption processing section 103a always supplies unencrypted plain text data to the VPN routers 102A and 102B so that the data will not be doubly encrypted, even if encryption is performed by the VPN routers 102A and 102B. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality of an image to which an image effect is given by pixel value conversion processing using a correction factor. SOLUTION: Using correction value tables 2 -1 -2 -k having patterns varied according to the positional relationship of two pixels from which a difference value is calculated, a correction value is not decided simply according to the difference value but decided in compliance with both of the positional relationship between the pixels and the difference value between them, so that a proper correction value can be decided while selecting the positions of the pixels. In comparison with a conventional technology by which the correction value is simply changed for changing an emphasis degree, for example, quality of the image acquired by a pixel value conversion processing can be improved.
