The proliposomal and liposomal formulations of chemotherapeutics, as well as medicaments and dosage forms that include such formulations, can be used with treatment regimens for bladder cancer and urothelial cancer. Hence, the formulations, medicaments, and dosage forms of the invention are suitable to treat bladder cancers by intravesical administration and to treat urothelial cancers. The formulations according to the invention include (a) a taxane (e.g., paclitaxel, docetaxel) or cisplatin, (b) a first phospholipid, dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine (DMPC), and (c) a second phospholipid, dimyrsityl phosphatidyl glycerol sodium (DMPG). The proliposomal formulations form liposomes upon contact with an aqueous vehicle.
Abstract:

A NOVEL WAVELET-BASED MULTIRESOLUTION METHOD WITH OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUES FOR PROCESS CONTROL AND DISTURBANCE REJECTION The present disclosure relates to a novel wavelet-based multiresolution method (100) with optimization techniques for process control and disturbance rejection. In an aspect, the novel wavelet-based multiresolution method (100) with optimization techniques for process control and disturbance rejection comprises steps of considering (102) an input signal and an error signal in a generalized form, decomposing (104) the resultant of the considered signals using wavelet decomposition method, scaling (106) the resulting decomposed components by their respective gains, summing (108) up the scaled signal to generate a control signal, controlling (110) the process control plant using the generated control signal. Abstract:
The invention described herein is directed to treating neoplasms by intraperitoneal administration of liposomal formulations of chemotherapeutic drugs. Methods of instilling liposomal formulations of taxane and platin chemotherapeutic agents into the peritoneal cavity of a subject to treat ovarian cancer or a primary peritoneal cancer are disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a manual husking apparatus (100) and a method of husking thereof. More particularly, it relates to a husking apparatus (100) for removing the husk from a fruit with a shell, particularly coconuts and the like. The apparatus of the present invention eliminates the hand contact of the operator with the coconut at the time of husking and reduces the energy consumption during operation.

A Defected Ground Antenna for Wireless Body Area Network The present disclosure describes an antenna (1) can also be used for wireless applications 5 such as WLAN and can even operate for X Band applications. The major use of this antenna (1) is in the field of wireless body area network, used for body implant and can be used to know the minor details of the body. By using novel dual band microstrip antenna (1) the cost and time both are save, instead of going to a lab and spending heavy amounts on test it can be done in the home itself and once the symptoms of a particular disease reflects then the 10 necessary steps could take place. Thus, using this antenna (1), we can easily help the weaker sections of the society by reducing their cost on medical tests. The radiator and the ground surface of antenna (1) are connected with the help of lumped port feeding technique and the simulation of the antenna is on HFSS software. The simulated results are compared with the measured results of antenna (1). Abstract:
A method and system for launching multiple applications simultaneously on a device under the control of application switching framework so that the operating system is only running one task for all the applications is provided. A single task is run under the control of an operating system. An application manager is run within the task. One or more applications are launched within the task under the control of the application manager. One of the applications is made the current application by switching, under user control, among the launched applications. A list of application descriptors is maintained for all the launched applications, and when switching, the application descriptor of one of the applications is used for displaying the application to a user on a screen. Each application descriptor contains forms of the launched applications. Each of the application descriptors contains a tree of forms with one root or parent form. A form represents an image to be displayed to the user. The image consists of text, pictures, bitmaps, or menus.
Abstract:
Organic-inorganic composite material based on metal oxide and carbon, nitrogen and other elements/functional groups for removal of anionic pollutants like arsenic, fluoride etc., from water, and methods for making the same are disclosed. The modified composition may comprise different phases of metal oxides, supported or promoted by incorporation of nitrogen, carbon and other elements/groups. The organic-inorganic composite may be produced from at least one biogenic material such as chitin, chitosan, leaf, bio-membrane and a salt of metal like iron, aluminium etc. The organic-inorganic composite based adsorbent shows arsenic uptake capacity in the range of 0.2 to 1.3 mg/g and fluoride uptake capacity in the range of 5-50 mg/g under different conditions, which is substantially high from the other adsorbents known so far. A breakthrough regeneration of 98-99% has been achieved by using new regeneration protocol.
