Abstract: An improved open-drum type steel container of 200 litres into which paint, ink or the like is filled and sealed. A disposable internal plastic film bag to be inserted into a drum is so constructed as to partially protrude, in the inserted state, from the opening of the drum together with its opening and also to be externally folded towards the outside of the drum at the protruded portion thereof. A clamp is so constructed as to be detachably attached to one of two annular recesses formed on the inner surface of the body of the drum via the internal bag or without the bag. The bag thus charged into the drum is secured in the drum by the clamp. Thus, when liquid such as paint, ink or the like is poured into the drum, when the drum thus filled is transported, when the drum is stirred for use, or when the liquid is discharged from the drum, it can prevent the internal bag from being separated from the drum to thereby cause the interior of the drum to be contaminated by the filled liquid. When the drum is re-used, it sufficient to merely replace the internal bag inserted into the drum by a new one.
