Abstract: A domed cover 1 for use on the drum 2 of a cement mixer to prevent material from splashing out of the drum when in use protecting property and personnel from harm or damage. The cover incorporates a cylindrical handle designed not to grab the hand when rotating, an internal profile to direct the mixture back into the drum and a radiused lip profile to enable the cover to be attached to the rim of the mixing drum and easily pulled off again.

Abstract: A solid oxide fuel cell stack incorporates metallic interconnects (14, 14a) each of which includes a fuel intake manifold (30), a fuel exhaust manifold (32), an oxidant intake manifold (34) and an oxidant exhaust manifold (36). The fuel side of the interconnect defines a fuel flow field (17) surrounded by a continuous sealing surface and in fluid communication with the fuel intake and exhaust manifolds. The oxidant side of the interconnect defines an oxidant flow field (16) surrounded by a continuous sealing surface and in fluid communication with the oxidant intake and exhaust manifolds. The interconnect may be fabricated by brazing together three stainless steel plates having overlapping openings to permit the exclusionary flow of fuel and oxidant through the interconnect.

Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a pair of substantially concentric tubes defining a first flow path between the tubes, and a second flow path being defined by one of an inner one of the pair of tubes and an outer one of the pair of tubes. A fin is supported between the concentric tubes along the first flow path and surrounding an outer perimeter of the inner one of the pair of tubes, a first side of the fin being secured to one of the pair of tubes. A sleeve extends around a second side of the fin. An elastic element is positioned between the sleeve and another of the pair of tubes for biasing the sleeve into engagement with the second side of the fin and substantially sealing a bypass around the fin between the other of the pair of tubes and the sleeve.
