Abstract: An extruded foam sheet material which comprises a foamed plastics material (1) sandwiched on either side by a relatively rigid layer (2, 3), wherein there is applied on at least one surface of such a structure another foam layer (4), so as to give a four layer structure. Such a foam sheet material may be used for containers, either to form the structure of the container itself or to provide a lining therefor.

Abstract: A crate, particularly intended for transporting produce where drainage of surplus liquid is desirable, especially wet fish, or for supporting heavy loads of for example fruits and vegetables, comprises a frame made of plastics material and formed of a base (1) and side walls (6, 7) preferably hinged to the base by means of integral hinges (2) made of thin sections of plastics material, the side walls being lockable together when the frame is erected, and a lining (5) functioning in use to keep the contents of the erected frame within the latter.
