Abstract:
Present invention relates to an oxidizing composition for keratin fibers especially for human hair with improved lightening effect and therefore, improved colouring and bleaching effects are easily achieved of the compositions applied after mixing with the said composition. Present inventors have surprisingly found out that a composition comprising at least one oxidizing agent and additionally at least one alkalizing agent, at least one carbonate source and at least one urea derivative delivers an improved and homogeneous lightening performance and leaves hair in an improved cosmetically acceptable conditioned status.

Abstract:
Present invention relates to a colouring composition for keratin fibres especially for human hair with exceptionally improved colour and shade stability. Accordingly, the first object of the present invention is a colouring composition for keratin fibres especially human hair comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, at least one oxidative dyestuff precursor, 1,3-bis(2,4-diaminophenoxy) propane and/or its respective salts as a coupling agent and at least one direct dye. In an especially preferred from of the present invention the colouring compositions are substantially free from mono cyclic m-phenylenediamine coupling agent. With the term "mono cyclic m-phenylenediamine", it is meant that the compound comprises only one cyclic group, preferably a benzene ring, in its molecule.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to hair dye compositions comprising one or more dyestuffs of the general formula (I) wherein R, X, Y and Z are defined as given in claim 1 and a process for colouring hair.
Abstract:
The invention provides a hair colouring composition comprising one or more developers selected from amino aromatic systems capable of being oxidised and thereafter undergoing at least two electrophilic attack reactions, and one or more couplers selected from compounds of the formula (I) in which X is a non-leaving substituent, and Z is an active leaving group, and Y is an active leaving group or a non-leaving substituent, such that in the presence of an oxidising agent the or each developer reacts with the or each coupler substantially only at the position having the active leaving group Z and, if Y is an active leaving group, Y, provided that if X is phenyl then Y is not ethyl or methyl. The application also claims compositions comprising a developer and specific compounds of formula (I).

Abstract:
A hair coloring composition comprising: (a) from about 0.0003 moles (per 100 g of composition) to less than about 0.09 moles (per 100 g of composition) of an inorganic peroxygen oxidising agent; and (b) an oxidative hair coloring agent; wherein the pH of each of (a) and (b) is in the range of from about 1 to about 6 and wherein the combined mixture of (a) and (b) has a pH in the range of from about 1 to about 6. The products can provide excellent hair coloring and in-use efficacy benefits including excellent initial color and good wash fastness in combination with reduced hair damage at low pH.
