Abstract:
A shaving head for an electric dry shaver includes a base element for carrying at least three cutter units. Each unit provides an outer cutter and an inner cutter arranged to be moved in sliding contact relative to each other. At least one cutter unit includes a foil-type outer cutter. The shaving head further includes a first trimmer-type cutting unit that has a plurality of slots defined by a plurality of adjacent bar elements featuring cutting edges. The shaving head also includes a second trimmer-type cutting unit having an outer cutter that includes a plurality of teeth featuring cutting edges and spaced apart from each other so as to define a plurality of slits.
Abstract:
An electric-powered shaving apparatus with a drive part excitable by an electric motor into performing an oscillatory motion, the drive part transmitting its motion for cutting hairs to a short-hair cutter and to a long-hair trimmer. The long-hair trimmer is displaceable relative to the housing into an advanced and a retracted position. The motion of the drive part for the short-hair cutter is utilized for moving the long-hair trimmer into the advanced position.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a multipole connector assembly for connection of a low voltage to an electric appliance (E) of personal use, with a plug (6) insertable into a socket (5) and with contactable contact elements (1 to 4, 10, 20, 30, 40) for a polarized voltage transfer, wherein the socket (5) and the plug (6) are constructed as polygonal profile bodies (M1 to M12) reversible from one plug-in position to at least one further plug-in position about a symmetry axis (S), wherein provision is made on each polygonal profile body (M1 to M12) for contact elements (1 to 4, 10, 20, 30, 40) of at least one first pole (+) and one second pole (−), wherein the contact elements of the first pole (+) and of the second pole (−) are provided on the polygonal profile body faces of the polygonal profile bodies (M1 to M12) in alternating sequence in a direction of rotation (U), and wherein on at least one of the polygonal profile bodies (M1 to M12) the contact elements have a relatively large contact face for making large-surface contact with the contact face of an engaging contact element (1 to 4, 10, 20, 30, 40).
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a dry shaving apparatus with a housing (1) in which an electric drive mechanism (2) is provided having a drive element (3) for the transmission of a driving motion to at least one reciprocatory cutting element (4), and with at least one shaving head (6) oscillating in a horizontal direction and formed by a shaving head frame (7, 55) in which at least two cooperating cutting elements (4, 5) are provided, wherein the electric drive mechanism (2) is mounted for oscillation in the housing (1) and is adapted to be set in oscillation by the inner forces necessarily occurring in operation of the dry shaving apparatus, and wherein the oscillatory motions of the electric drive mechanism (2) are transmitted to the shaving head (6) in order to set said shaving head in oscillation as well.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a dry shaving apparatus having a housing (1) and a housing portion (21) in which at least one exchangeable frame (20) incorporating at least one cutting element (18) is held by at least one detent means (28, 29), with cooperating stop elements (40, 50, 60, 70) being provided on the exchangeable frame (20) and on the housing portion (21), wherein the stop elements (40, 50, 60, 70) are maintained in engagement by means of at least one pressure element (30, 31) acted upon by a spring element (32, 33) and bearing against a wall (39), and by means of a sloping wall surface (34, 35, 36, 37) acted upon by the pressure element (30, 31), and wherein the pressure element (30, 31) and the sloping wall surface (34, 35, 36, 37) are provided to take effect only on one side of the cooperating stop elements (40, 50, 60, 70).
Abstract:
A cutting head for an electric razor is provided. The cutting head has at least one upper blade and a lower blade associated with the upper blade, which upper and lower blades are movably supported relative to one another and can be driven accordingly by a drive device. The upper blade has a contact surface for the skin to be shaved, which contact surface is formed by a plurality of webs that are each bounded by slots. The longitudinal extent of the webs runs substantially perpendicular to a threading edge bounding the contact surface. The contact surface is designed to be concave and rises towards the threading edge, where the threading edge has an outer radius and this outer radius encloses an angle of less than 90°.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a cleaning device for the shaving head of a dry shaving apparatus. The cleaning device 1 includes a receptacle 2 adapted to receive the shaving head. A pump 5 operates to transfer a cleaning fluid 4 from a reservoir 3 into the receptacle 2. A controllable drain 9 between the lower region of the receptacle 2 and the reservoir 3 ensures that the cleaning fluid 4 does not return to the reservoir 3 until needed. This prolongs the period of time for which the cleaning fluid 4 is in contact with the shaving head to be cleaned, without it being necessary for the pump 5 to run permanently.
Abstract:
An electrically operated hair removing device, comprising a housing, an operating system connected to the housing for clipping and/or plucking hair, the system having at least two operating elements which are movable relative to one another and at least one of which is driven, and an illumination device for illuminating the operating system, the illumination device being integrated in at least one of the operating elements.
