The present invention provides an improved method and apparatus for automatically aligning and connecting a passenger boarding bridge (PBB) with the passenger door of an aircraft or other vessel. A sensory suite module includes cameras and sensors to scan the apron for obstacles and identify an aircraft based on external features. The sensory suite module also includes one or more high-precision active laser line profilers to detect the vertical and lower edges of an aircraft door. A controller module provides precise control and movement of the distal end of the PBB and guides the distal end of the PBB to the passenger door. The system can be activated by a remote triggering panel module.

A system for cooling an outdoor space comprises a main cooling module, a heat rejection module, a water management module, and a control module. The main cooling module comprises an indirect evaporative cooling unit for pre-cooling an intake ambient air to a lower temperature by reducing sensible heat, and a direct evaporative cooling unit having a first evaporative medium for cooling the pre-cooled air (or direct ambient air) through vaporization of water thereby generating a conditioned supply air with a much lower wet bulb temperature than the ambient air. The heat rejection module comprises a second evaporative medium for removing heat contained in the excess water from the indirect evaporative cooling unit thereby producing cool water having a temperature almost equivalent to the intake ambient air wet bulb temperature.

Present invention relates to a modular system for fabrication of a biocolumn for generating fuel stocks. The biocolumn of independent units called modules and which function as independent units and can be assembled together to fabricate a biocolumn. These modules can be assembled together to form various zones of biocolumn. Fuel stocks can be prepared by inputting a nutrient, a renewable energy source, photon energy and a carbon source into said zones and outputting fuel stock and by products from zones. The zones are interconnected so that byproducts from each zone can be recycled as input or transformed into product.
