    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug device for standard electric or optical connection cord that comprises at the end a cord plug having a main unit with a mechanical latch on the outside. SOLUTION: The plug device comprises a plug body (20), a plug adaptor (22) that has an outside fixing means for engaging with the above plug body, a packing unit (30) including a cylindrical packing (32), and a coupling part (28) that has a first end for connecting to the above plug body and a second end for connecting to the above packing unit. The above plug adaptor has an inner cross section that is suitable for housing the above cord plug body (12) and, further, a fixing means that engages with the cord plug body and holds the latch (16) of the cord plug body at its stopping position.
