Abstract:
A mounting for a door leaf, a fanlight leaf or the like, particularly for an all-glass leaf, has a plane clamping plate (1) and a plane counter clamping plate (2). The mounting can be attached, in the region of an edge recess (3) in a leaf edge (5) of the leaf, to the two opposite surfaces, and the leaf can be pinched between the clamping plate (1) and the counter clamping plate (2) by means of fastening screws (7) joining the clamping plate and the counter clamping plate. At the clamping plate (1) a web plate (9) is formed extending perpendicular to the clamping plate, which web plate, in the assembled condition, spans over the distance between the clamping plate (1) and the counter clamping plate (2) extending through the edge recess (3). The counter clamping plate is provided with a rectangular recess (17, 41) being adapted to the shape of the free end of the web plate (9), the web plate in the assembled condition engaging by means of its free end with the rectangular recess (17, 41). The clamping plate (1) inclusive of the web plate (9) and the counter clamping plate (2) are formed as extruded profile rails or rolled profile rails.
Abstract:
Floor-mounted door closer device comprising a floor trough (5) insertable in a cavity (3) of the floor and arranged to receive the closer casing (7) from which a pivot pin (9) projects, the device further comprising a cover plate (11) covering the floor trough (5) and closer casing (7). The cover plate (11) is designed as a carrier for a material layer (15) made of flooring material, and is supported on the floor trough (5) such that the cover plate (11) is sunk in the cavity (3) and the material layer (15) carried by the cover plate (11) is substantially flush with the surface of the flooring material (1) surrounding the cavity (3).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a mechanism for locking a door (2) or door leaf to the floor by means of a vertically displaceable latch (3) mounted to the bottom of the inner surface (6) of the door (2) or door leaf. In order to prevent burglars from unlocking the latch (3) from outside, the latch (3) is fixed to a slide block (16) vertically displaceable in the housing (14), the slide block (16) bearing a mounting pin (20) for an operating handle projecting inwardly, the mounting pin (20) being pivotable in a limited range about a horizontal first pivot axle arranged parallel to the door or door leaf, the slide block (16) further bearing an elbow lever (26) pivotable about a horizontal pivot axle (24) disposed perpendicular to the door (2) or door leaf, a first arm of the elbow lever (26) extending beyond the mounting pin (20) and being biased downwardly by a spring (30), while the other arm extends downward and is provided with a hook oriented laterally for releasably engaging a latch recess in the housing (14).
Abstract:
Structure comprising a pair of plates, in particular a multilayer glass door. A hollow profiled rail (1) having a T-shaped overall cross section is extending between a pair of plates (10) opposing each other in a spaced relationship and overlapping each other. The leg portion of the T-profile is arranged as a spacer between the plates and the arm portions of the T-profile abut on the respective narrow faces of the plates. In order to provide that all the required edge finishing elements and closing and locking mechanisms can be received without any additional profiled parts of different shapes, the profiled rail is formed with a circumferentially closed first chamber (2) formed in the foot portion of the T-profile, to which first chamber a second chamber (4) adjoins which is arranged in the leg portion of the T-profile and opens into a third chamber (6) in the head part of the profile. The third chamber, in turn, opens towards the exterior side of the profiled rail opposite to the foot part and is wider than the second chamber. Adjacent to the third chamber and facing each other rectangular grooves (5) are arranged in the lateral confining walls of the second chamber and extend in the longitudinal direction of the profiled rail.
Abstract:
Described is a suspension device for a sliding suspended partition with at least panel-like wall element (3) below a hollow-section trackway (4) in which the wall element (3) is hung from carrier blocks (2) by means of carrier bolts (1) which pass through a continuous slot (11) in the underside of the trackway (4). The carrier blocks (2) rest on the lower walls (13) of the trackway on balls (6) and run along guideways extending along each side of the slot (11), each guideway being delimited by a horizontal upper wall (14) and a horizontal lower wall (13) of the trackway. Mounted on the top of each carrier block (2), on each side of the carrier bolt (1) and at a certain distance from the bolt, is at least one ball (7), a gap being left between the balls (7) and the underside (9) of the upper trackway wall (14) to limit the distance the wall element (3) can swing out to the side.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a locking armature (1) and a dummy armature (2) for the lower adjacent corners of all-glass sliding door leaves or roll-up wall panes. One of the locking and dummy armatures comprises two abutment plates (5) projecting laterally from said one armature and respectively fixed on both sides of the associated first glass pane (4), while the other armature comprises two receiving grooves (7) arranged on both sides of the associated other glass pane (6) and adapted to receive the abutment plates (5) therein, the bottoms of the grooves serving as counterstops co-operating with the respective adjacent lateral edge faces of the abutment plates, wherein either the respective groove bottoms of the two receiving grooves or the two abutment plates are laterally adjustable.
Abstract:
An axially extending closer shaft for a door closer is made up of an axially extending first section mounted in a door closer housing and an axially extending second section aligned with and connected to the first section and located outside of the housing. A plurality of annular grooves are formed in the second section extending perpendicularly of the shaft axis and spaced apart in the direction of the shaft axis. The second section can be cut to the desired length in the plane of one of the grooves. The first and second sections can be connected together by a plurality of bolts extending in the axial direction of the shaft or by a single shaft and coupling balls positioned within recesses in the first shaft and in bores in the second shaft.
Abstract:
At top and bottom of a glass door which swings open about a vertical hinge axis are cutouts near the corners, holding the hinge fittings. These include inner and outer clamping plates (14,16) with resilient packer strips (18,20) secured by screw fittings (32) passing through holes (12) in the glass (2). These elements also have cut outs, into which fit hinge blocks (24). Each block has a thick portion (24b) secured by screws (32) to a thin portion (24a). The thick portion has a projecting part (30) in contact with the thin portion. There are shoulders (24b1,2) separated by clearances from recessed faces (221,222) incorporated in the clamping plates. There are similar clearances between the thin portion and recessed faces in the clamping plates
