Abstract:
Process for the preparation of a solid catalyst component for the polymerization of olefins, the process comprising the steps of: - continuously contacting solid particles of a MgCl 2 .mROH adduct, wherein 0.5 2 .nROH, wherein n is lower than m; - reacting the slurry from step a) with one or more titanium compounds of formula Ti(OR) p X q-p , wherein q=3-4 and p=0-q, X is an halogen and R is an alkyl, cicloalkyl or aryl radical having 1-18 carbon atoms.
Abstract:
A process for preparing a catalyst component, comprising a Mg compound a Ti compound and an electron donor compound (ED) selected from alcohol, glycols, esters, ketones, amines, amides, nitriles, alkoxysilanes and aliphatic ethers as essential compounds, comprising two or more steps of reaction involving the use of at least one of said essential compounds as fresh reactant alone or in a mixture in which it constitutes the main component, said process being characterized by the fact that in the last of said one or more reaction steps the essential compound used as a fresh reactant is the ED compound.
Abstract:
Prepolymerized catalyst component for the polymerization of olefins CH 2 =CHR, wherein R is hydrogen or a C 1 -C 12 hydrocarbyl group, comprising a solid catalyst component characterized by comprising Mg, Ti halogen and an electron donor (ID) selected from the alkyl esters of aromatic dicarboxylic acids in such an amount that the molar ratio ID/Mg ranges from 0.025 to 0.07 and the Mg/Ti molar ratio is higher than 13, said prepolymerized catalyst component containing an amount of ethylene pre-polymer up to 5Og per g of said solid catalyst component.
Abstract:
A method for continuously recovering titanium tetrachloride TiCl4 from a waste liquid comprising TiCl 4 and by-products, wherein said waste liquid is subjected, as a flowing liquid film, to an evaporation step for a residence time of less than minutes at a temperature higher than 90 ° C.
