Abstract:
A cooling appliance is disclosed herein. The cooling appliance includes a chest defining a cavity and an opening to the cavity. The cooling appliance also includes a lid operably engaged with the chest and moveable between a first position in which the lid covers the opening and closes the cavity and a second position spaced from the first position. The cooling appliance also includes at least one storage structure disposed in the cavity. The cooling appliance also includes a lift disposed in the cavity and operable to move the at least one storage structure out of the cavity when the lid is in the second position.
Abstract:
Advanced call services are provided to conventional wire line and mobile phones through the use of application services accessed via media gateways that terminate local telephone calls from the wire line and mobile phones. Among the services provided are the ability to reach Internet-based hosts for retrieval of content stored thereon. Further, outbound messaging via email, SMS and/or voicemail may be provided. In one particular example, calls to remote parties may be placed and connected without incurring long distance charges. Some or all of these services may be facilitated through the use of prepaid calling plans.
Abstract:
The invention generally relates to an integrated head up displaying (HUD) device including a housing that houses an active-matrix image projecting system and its accompanying electronics, and an optical combiner (for providing a see-through image thereon) connected to the housing via a retractable arm attached at one end to the main body and holds the HUD optical panel at its other end. In particular, the telescopically retractable arm allows the assembly to extend or retract for a desirable combiner height. Further, the LED backlighting array is placed within a reflective light chamber which is lined with a safe, light-weight, low cost, specular, reflective sheet for high reflectivity. The non-conductive, reflective sheet also covers the LED printed circuit board.
Abstract:
A method for predicting late fermentation production of diacetyl in a brewing process comprises determining the ratio of FAN (free amino nitrogen content) to sugar (fermentable) to gravity in an initial wort composition. In addition there is provided a process for preventing incipient late fermentation production of diacetyl in a brewing process, comprising measuring and variously adjusting the initial FAN, sugar and gravity of the wort such that the ratio (I), (g f.sug /g FAN /°P) for the adjusted wort has a value of 37 or less.

Abstract:
A calling party is permitted to determine a ring tone to be played by a calling party's mobile phone. Upon receiving an indication of the called party telephone number and a ring tone to be pushed to the called party's handset, the calling party is placed on hold on a conference bridge. The subject ring tone and a designated ANI are transmitted to the called party's handset. Thereafter, an outbound call is placed to the called party's handset such that a ringing signal transmitted to the called party's handset includes the designated ANI. When a connection is established with the called party's handset, the outbound call is bridged with the calling party's call on the conference bridge.
