Abstract:
A horizontal interface for a fluid supply cartridge is to connect the fluid supply cartridge to a fluid-ejection device. The horizontal interface includes one or more fluidic interconnect septums to horizontally fluidically interconnect a supply of fluid of the fluid supply cartridge to the fluid-ejection device. The horizontal interface includes an electrical interface to horizontally conductively connect a digital fluid level sensor of the fluid supply cartridge to a corresponding electrical interface of the fluid-ejection device.

Abstract:
A vertical interface (100) for a fluid supply cartridge (120) is to connect the fluid supply cartridge (120) to a fluid-ejection device (140). The vertical interface (100) includes one or more fluidic interconnect septums (102) to vertically fluidically interconnect a supply of fluid of the fluid supply cartridge to the fluid-ejection device. The vertical interface (100) includes an electrical interface (104) to vertically conductively connect a digital fluid level sensor (124) of the fluid supply cartridge (120) to a corresponding electrical interface (144) of the fluid-ejection device (140).
Abstract:
In one example, an ink supply assembly that may be installed into a printer as a single unit while holding ink includes a first sub-assembly having a primary container to hold ink and a secondary container enclosing the primary container and configured to fit inside the printer. The assembly also includes a a second sub-assembly having an ink supply to receive ink from the primary container through a conduit and to deliver ink to a printhead.
Abstract:
A service station (104) for a fluid-ejection mechanism (102) of a fluid-ejection device (100) includes one or more mechanism (406, 410). The mechanisms move back and forth over the fluid-ejection mechanism to wipe the fluid-ejection mechanism. The mechanisms cap the fluid-ejection mechanism during periods of nonuse of the fluid-ejection mechanism. The service station is mounted on the fluid-ejection mechanism, and remains mounted on the fluid-ejection mechanism while the fluid-ejection mechanism is used to eject fluid onto media. The fluid-ejection device is moved by a user to properly eject the fluid onto the media.
Abstract:
An embodiment provides a print cartridge body (300) with three or more compartments in series (310 1 , 310 2 , 310 3 ), and a partition (312) formed between each successive pair of compartments (310 1 , 310 2 , 310 3 ). Each partition (312) is substantially parallel to a scanning direction of the cartridge body (300).
Abstract:
A hand-held printing device (100) has a hand-operated mechanical actuator (102) for moving a print head (110) that prints images to medium (141) and memory (409) configured electronically storing a sequence of images in a predetermined sequential order. The hand-held printing device (100) further has logic (104) that detects a first actuation of the actuator (102) and automatically communicates a first image in the sequence to the print head (110) and detects a second actuation of the actuator (102) and automatically communicates a second image in the sequence to the print head (110).
Abstract:
Example fluid couplings, systems and methods are described including a fluid delivery tube for delivering fluid to a fluid supply, a fluid interconnect fitting for connection to the fluid delivery tube, a retainer for engaging the fluid interconnect fitting and a fluid supply for retaining the fluid interconnect fitting with respect to the fluid supply, and a seal feature arranged to mate with the fluid interconnect fitting and a fluid inlet of the fluid supply.
Abstract:
In one example, an ink storage unit for an inkjet printer includes multiple bags to hold ink, a single housing enclosing the bags and configured to fit inside the printer, and an outlet from each bag to connect to an ink flow path external to the housing. In another example, a liquid supply unit includes multiple primary containers each holding liquid, a single secondary container enclosing the primary containers, and an outlet from each primary container. In this example, each outlet is positioned at the middle of a vertical column of liquid in the corresponding primary container.
