A method and apparatus (10, 410) for testing magnetic media read/write head components such as a head element bar (46) and a slider assembly (564). The component to be tested is held in a head bar holding assembly (44) or an alternate head holding assembly (544), and positioned with a head gross positioning assembly (18) or a head fine positioning assembly (16) over a localized portion (50) of a flexible magnetic medium (28) which is caused to spin in relation to a stabilizer plate (20) by a media spin motor (24). The localized portion (50) is deformed by a deforming pin (52, 452) to bring the localized portion (50) of the flexible magnetic medium (28) into proximity with the component under test.

An ultra-high capacity removable media diskette data storage system includes a floppy-type disk drive (10) having a flexible media disk (40) rotatable at a controlled angular velocity which includes a pre-recorded pattern of a plurality of repeating servo bursts (A, B, C, D), each burst having a predetermined integral fraction radial offset relative to the other bursts. A read/write head (34) is positionable relative to data tracks (42) in response to information derived from the servo bursts (A, B, C, D). The data storage system further includes a plurality of calibration tracks (-1, 0, +1), each track including a first series of head-positioning servo sectors interspersed with a second series of calibration servo sectors. The calibration servo sectors include full amplitude servo bursts (A and B) which are read and processed by an electronic circuit (72) which defines a magnitude and polarity signal representing the electronic offset introduced by the circuitry.

The present invention provides an adulterated peanut oil detector and an adulterated peanut oil detection method, and pertains to the technical domain of product analysis. The detector comprises a casing, a LCD and Return key, Enter key, Up key, Down key, a power switch, a power socket, and a USB interface arranged on the casing, and a microprocessor and a power supply unit mounted in the casing and electrically connected to the components on the casing, wherein, a module cover is arranged on the top surface of the casing, and a pretreatment module and a detection module are mounted in the space under the module cover. The pretreatment module comprises a heating body and cuvette slots, and the detection module comprises an axial fan, a radiating plate, a refrigerating plate, and cuvette slots. The detection method comprises sample preheating procedure and slow refrigeration procedure. The detector and method provided in the present invention can quickly and easily detect whether the peanut oil sample is adulterated and the percentage of adulteration, and is applicable to quick on-spot detection of rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, maize oil, cotton oil, palm oil, and soybean oil, etc. admixed in peanut oil.
