Abstract:
An eco-friendly process for coating a plastic product includes several steps: (a) adding a conducting material to a thermoplastic material, (b) mixing the conducting material and the thermoplastic material homogeneously, and then molding into a product (c) spraying charged paint uniformly on the product (d) baking the painted product in ambient temperature atmosphere. Under this arrangement, plastic product made of different material could be produced without pre-treatment.
Abstract:
An environmental friendly process for manufacturing and recycling a painted plastic product includes several steps: (a) selecting an engineering material, (b) applying the engineering material to a mold for forming a crude product via an injection molding method or a compression molding method, (c) tuning an ambient temperature below 160 Celsius degrees, and spraying a thermosetting powdered paint to coat on the crude product directly by an electrostatic gun so as to form an unfinished product, (d) putting the unfinished product into an oven, and baking the unfinished product for 10 to 15 minutes so as to form the painted plastic product. Under this arrangement, when said steps are applied, the engineering material is molded, sprayed with the thermosetting powdered paint, and baked so as to form the painted plastic product without an introduction of the chemical pretreatment steps.
Abstract:
A method for painting a plastic powder product includes the steps of: adding a conductive material into engineering plastics; high pressure injection molding the engineering plastics with the conductive material in a module to manufacture a plastic powder product; surface treating the plastic powder product for removing oil stains and inks from the plastic powder product, an electrostatic gun spraying paint on the plastic powder product; baking the plastic powder product in an ultraviolet oven for hardening the plastic powder product at a temperature between 90. degree. C. and 120. degree. C. for about 3 to 15 minutes.
