Abstract:
An opening/closing arrangement, for example for opening/closing of windows, consists of two arms (1) and (2), which at one end are mutually swingably hinged by a hinge (5) and at the opposite end are swingably hinged, respectively, to a window frame (4) by a hinge (6) and to a window (3) by a hinge (7). The arms (1) and (2) are furthermore a distance from the hinge (5) mutually interconnected by a push/pull rod (8), which at one end is swingably attached to the arm (2) and at the other end is eccentrically swingable mounted by a swivel joint (10) on an activating arm (11), which can be given a turning movement in the clockwise or anticlockwise direction round an axis (c-c), whereby the swivel joint (10) is moved in a circle or semicircle from en extreme position in which the swivel joint (10) is the farthest distance away from the arm (2) over an intermediate to another extreme position in which the rod (8) is parallel with the activating arm (11) in which position the window is open, and then, when the window is closed is moved back again. The activating arm (11) is coupled to a driving arrangement, which can consist of a gear (13) coupled to an electric motor (14), which can be remote controlled. The gear (13) and the motor (14) are fixed to the arm (1). The arrangement offers a high speed and low force in the intermediate positions and a low speed and high force in the extreme positions. Consequently the closing force is high. The jamming risk is low.
