Abstract:
A device, system, and method for determining a user's proximity within a predefined radius. A mobile electronic device with location software thereon can record and analyze ambient noise to determine after initiated the user's estimated locations as well as to track the user's movements throughout a predefined radius. The mobile locate software may present information to the user according to the user's position within the radius of the area. The type and nature of the information presented to the user can be changed according to the user's distance from emergency services as well as how quickly the user is approaches the safe zones. The software may provide detailed data about the movement of the user and additional users of the software that are within the determined radius. This information may be correlated with local, state and federal officials in the determination of the initial incident.
Abstract:
A Distributed Mode Loudspeaker (DML) assembly which includes a free motion heat sink module that provides for mechanical reinforcement to the exciter connection to help resist shear forces while not impinging on the ability of the exciter to oscillate the panel in the desired fashion. The panel may also be provided with a flexible sleeve which allows for customization of the panel from an aesthetic point of view as well as for the alteration of specific tone production capabilities of the panel without the need to alter the panel construction or to disconnect the exciter or heat sink.
Abstract:
An emergency call station provides emergency communication services for a user to contact an emergency responder. The call station includes an integrated IP video camera, an integrated security console, and at least one processor configured to provide network supervision status monitoring and notification, status message escalations, logging voice and video, text-to-speech conversion, multilevel forwarding, remote management of endpoints, pre-recorded messages, InformaCast® Compatibility; and mass emergency notification to multiple responders.
