Abstract: The adjusting drive for a window or door fitting comprises an electric motor (3) which drives a preferably multi-stage planet gear (5) via a self-locking device, e.g. a self-locking worm drive (25) connected on the output side to a drive spindle (7) operating the window or door fitting. The first drive stage (37) of the planet gear (5) comprises a ring gear (47) drivable via the electric motor (3) via the self-locking device, a sun-wheel (51) operable by a hand crank (11) and a planet wheel carrier (61) drivably connected to the drive spindle (7) possibly via further gear stages (39), the planet wheels (57) of which mesh with the sun wheel (51) and the ring gear (47). The hand crank (11) is of the folding type and, in its inoperative position designed for motor operation, locks the sun wheel (51) in relation to a bearer component (1) of the actuator drive. In order to go over into manual operation, it is merely necessary to put the hand crank (11) into its operative position, whereupon the sun wheel (51) is released. The self-locking device (25) now automatically locks the ring gear (47). The adjusting drive is thus easy to use and requires no clutches in the drive train.

Abstract: A vertically sliding window has two sashes, at least one of the sashes is transferrable pivotable into a cleaning position in which it is held by a tilt-limiting strap (16). The pivot angle of the tilt-limiting strap (16) is limited by stops 62 in such a way that closing of the sash (14) is possible by simple exertion of pressure in the direction of the closed position. One end of the strap 16 is pivoted on the tilting sash 42 and the other on a slider 46 which runs in the window frame 48.
