Abstract: An automatic-cum-manual water gate transmission is provided to open and close a water gate automatically according to working environment and to regulate the opening and closing speed of a water gate effectively. An automatic-cum-manual water gate transmission(100) comprises a main body(110) formed on the upper part of a main reduction gear, a driving shaft(130) installed to the inner rear of the main body rotatively and provided with irregularities(131) at the outside diameter in a longitudinal direction, a rotary gear(132) formed on one side of the driving shaft and engaged with the driving gear to transfer rotary force, a 2-stage gear(134) coupled loosely to the outside diameter of the driving shaft to run idle and equipped with a 1-stage gear(133) and many hanging projections, a moving drum(136) moved horizontally along the irregularities by a driving device(137) and provided with many hanging projections(136a) engaged with the hanging projections to transfer rotary force, a spring(135) formed between the 2-stage gear and the moving drum to make the hanging projections come apart using elastic force to cut off the transfer of rotary force when opening and closing a water gate manually, a rotary shaft(140) installed to the inner front of the main body rotatively and provided with irregularities(141) at the outside diameter in a longitudinal direction, a 1-stage transmission gear(142) moved horizontally along the irregularities by a driving device(144) and provided with a 2-stage transmission gear(143), a transfer gear(145) formed on one side of the rotary shaft, a sprocket(146) coupled to one side of the rotary shaft to transfer rotary force to the main reduction gear, a manual shaft(150) installed to the inside of the main body rotatively and provided with a manual gear(151) engaged with the transfer gear to transfer rotary force, a clutch(152) coupled to the outside diameter of the manual shaft and provided with a hanging projection(152a), a manual handle(154) coupled loosely to the manual shaft to run idle and provided with a hanging projection(154a) engaged with the hanging projection to transfer rotary force, and a spring(153) formed between the clutch and the manual handle to generate elastic force and to make the hanging projection come apart to prevent the rotation of the manual handle when opening and closing a water gate automatically.
