Abstract: PURPOSE: An electrode for discharge processing using ceramic composite materials and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to extend lifetime of the electrode by reducing consumption of the electrode through excellent conductivity property. CONSTITUTION: An electrode for discharge processing using ceramic composite materials is comprised of 5-10 vol% of carbon nanotube powder, 90-95 vol% of ceramic powder by pressurizing with 93-98% of powder molding density and 40-70 MPa of a welding force at 1350-1390 deg. C for 10-15 minutes.
