Abstract: PURPOSE: A lever type diversion gate device is provided to significantly reduce the opening and closing time for a canal and facilitate the opening and closing of the canal by opening or closing first and second canals at the same time with a single operation. CONSTITUTION: A lever type diversion gate device (100) comprises a base unit (110), a frame unit (120), a rotary plate (130), and a fixing unit (140). The frame unit is installed on the top of the base unit. The frame unit includes a first frame to come in touch with both sidewalls of a main canal and a second frame to come in touch with both sidewalls of an offtake canal. The rotary plate is installed to be rotated around a rotary shaft formed between the first and second frames. The rotary plate adjusts the flow rate of running water flowing to the main and offtake canals or cuts off the main canal from the offtake canal.
