Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for replacing a spindle motor of a single hard-disk is provided to recover data of a hard disk unavailable to access due to damage of the spindle motor. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for replacing a spindle motor of a single hard-disk comprises a decoupling device(100) and a coupling device. The decoupling device comprises a handle(103) made up of a horizontal shaft, an eject pin(104) which is in contact with the central axis of the spindle motor, a rotary shaft(101) in which a spiral groove(105) is formed, and a fixing unit(102) in which a spiral groove(107) coupled with the spiral groove of the rotary shaft is formed in the longitudinal direction. The fixing unit includes a fixing face(106) on the bottom end thereof in which a coupling groove(108) is formed. As the rotary shaft rotates, the eject pin pushes out the central axis of the spindle motor and therefore the spindle motor and the hub are separated.
