Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for processing a panel. The apparatus for processing a panel includes a first transferring line for loading and transferring a first panel which is a processing object; a second transferring line disposed in parallel with the first transferring line and for loading and transferring a second panel which is a processing object; a first processing line disposed to cross the first and second transferring lines; a second processing line disposed in parallel with the first processing line and to cross the first and second transferring lines; a first processing unit installed on the first processing line; and a second processing unit installed on the second processing line. Thus, since a plurality of processing lines are arranged in parallel, a plurality of panels can be processed at the same time, so that the processing tact time can be maintained to be equal to that of the previous scheme or reduced.
