Abstract: Disclosed are a glass panel grinding apparatus and a grinding method. The glass panel grinding apparatus for grinding multiple glass panels consecutively transferred in a sequence comprises a grinding part for processing a glass panel while pressing the glass panel at predetermined pressure; a pressure sensing part for measuring data on welding force of the grinding part with respect to the glass panel; a displacement sensing part for measuring data on displacement according to a change in the location of the grinding part; and a controlling part for controlling the extent of pressurization of the grinding part by receiving feedback on data from the pressure sensing part and the displacement sensing part. When at least two small glass panels are processed, a grinding wheel is capable of uniformly pressing the glass panel, so a uniform amount of grinding can be obtained.
