Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for grinding a glass panel are provided to reduce rack time by allowing a loader and an unloader to deliver a panel to a grinding table. CONSTITUTION: A method for grinding a glass panel is as follows. A grinding table(10) is rotatably fixed to a specific position. Glass panels(1) picked up by a loader(6) are placed on the grinding table and are arranged. The front corners of the glass panels are grinded by moving align cameras(24) and front corner-cut grinding wheels(26). The first edges of the glass panels are grinded by moving edge grinding wheels(30) arranged around the grinding table. The rear corners of the glass panels are grinded by moving back corner-cut grinding wheels(28) arranged around the grinding table. The second edges of the glass panels are grinded by rotating the grinding table and moving the edge grinding wheels. The glass panels are picked up and are delivered to an unloader(8).
