    Abstract: PURPOSE: A valve seat and a manufacturing process thereof are provided to enable the whole matrix to be formed in a stably tempered martensite structure since the powder of two kinds of hard particles is added to Mo alloy powder forming a matrix and is sintering-tempered. CONSTITUTION: The powder of two kinds of dispersion-strengthened hard particles is added and mixed by 15-25 weight%, respectively(S10). The mixture is shaped using a press so that the mixture formed in the mixing process is set to a range of 6.7~7.1 g/cc in shaping density(S12). A product shaped in the shaping process is sintered(S14). Thermal treatment is performed after the sintering process finishes(S16). The thermal treatment process is a tempering process, in which the whole Mo Pre-alloyed matrix is formed in a reinforced martensite structure.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A valve sheet and a manufacturing process thereof are provided to prevent the expansion of pores by remarkably increasing shear strength by forming an oxidized steel layer on the pores of a matrix through a steaming process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing process of a valve sheet is as follows. 10~20 weight% of dispersion-strengthened hard particle powder is added and mixed to/with HSS(High Speed Steel) powder forming a matrix(S10). Mixture mixed in the mixing process are molded using a press(S12). A molded product molded in the molding process is sintered, precipitation-strengthened hard particles are formed in the matrix(S14). A steaming process is performed after the sintering process, and ferrous oxide(Fe3O4) layer is formed on the pores of the matrix(S16).
