CONSTITUTION: A perfume composition for reproducing herb fragrance contains 45-65 weight% of D-limonene, 6.0-12 weight% of eucalyptol, 1.5-6.0 weight% of gamma-terpinene, 1.0-5.0 weight% of terpinol, 1.0-6.0 weight% of P-cymene, 2.3-2.7 weight% of camphor, 0.9-1.1 weight% of ethyl acetate and 1.0-1.4 weight% of furfural. The composition further contains 0.5-2.0 weight% of alpha-pinene, 0.2-1.0 weight% of beta-pinene, 0.2-0.9 weight% nerolidol, and 0.2-0.8 weight% of thymol.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A perfume composition re-creating a scent of a paeonia suffruticosa and a skin preparation composition for external use containing thereof are provided to provide an original scent of the paeonia suffruticosa. CONSTITUTION: A perfume composition re-creating a scent of a paeonia suffruticosa consists p-menthane-7-ol and an essential oil of the paeonia suffruticosa as active ingredients. The essential oil of the paeonia suffruticosa is extracted from the peony flower. The essential oil of the paeonia suffruticosa contains geraniol, nerol, phenylethyl alcohol, pentadecane, and heptadecadien. The perfume composition contains 21~23wt% of geraniol, 15~17wt% of nerol, 13~15wt% of phenylethyl alcohol, 8~9.5wt% of pentadecane, and 8~9wt% of heptadecadien by the total weight. The content of p-menthane-7-ol is 5~9wt%. The essential oil of the paeonia suffruticosa is extracted with a SPME(solid phase micro extraction) method.
