PURPOSE: A composition containing a Glycine gracilis extract is provided to show antioxidative, antiaging, whitening, and moisturizing abilities. CONSTITUTION: An antioxidative composition contains a Glycine gracilis extract as an active ingredient. An antiaging composition contains the extract as an active ingredient. A whitening composition contains the extract as an active ingredient. A moisturizing composition contains the extract as an active ingredient. The compositions contain 0.001-10 wt% of the extract. PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Adenophora triphylla var. japonica Hara, Angelica tenuissima Nakai, Ligusticum sinense Oliv, and herb extract is provided to ensure anti-oxidation and moisturization effects. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains Adenophora triphylla var. japonica Hara, Angelica tenuissima Nakai, Ligusticum sinense Oliv, and herb extract as an active ingredient. The composition additionally contains Lycium chinense Mill. or Paeonia suffruticosa Andrews extract. The composition is obtained through a Milja method. The Milja method comprises: a step of diluting honey in warm water and spraying the honey water into medicinal herb materials; and a step of roasting the herb materials at 100-180°C for 10 minutes to one hour.

PURPOSE: A skin external composition containing medicinal plant extract is provided to suppress oxidation of DPPH[1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl] and improve anti-oxidative efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing medicinal herb extract comprises: a step of processing through boiling, steaming, roasting, and baking medicinal plants; and a step of extracting medicinal plant extract using water or organic solvent. The organic solvent is ethanol, methanol, butanol, ether, ethylacetate or chloroform.

A simultaneous determination method for two or more amino acids using liquid chromatography is provided to ensure high isolation degree of various kinds of amino acid components and to rapidly analyze amino acid components. A simultaneous determination method for two or more amino acids using liquid chromatography comprises the steps of (i) separating an amino acid component from a sample containing two or more amino acids and performing derivatization with a fluorescent reagent; (ii) injecting the derivatizated sample on a liquid chromatography(LC) having a non-polar column as a stationary phase; and (iii) flowing a solvent mixture of aqueous solution and organic solvent as a moving phase.
