Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical signal delay module using an optical fiber and a fabricating method thereof are provided to compensate a time delay difference between optical signals generated from wireless optical communication or analog communication by delaying arbitrarily the optical signals. CONSTITUTION: An optical signal delay module using an optical fiber is formed by winding an optical transmission medium having a refractive index over 1 around a cylinder having a diameter of 3 to 10cm. The optical transmission medium is formed with the optical fiber such as a single mode fiber, a dispersion compensation fiber, a dispersion shift fiber, and a polarization-maintaining fiber. The optical signal delay modules are connected each other by using a splicing method or a connector.
