    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a 1x2N 3-wavelength optical fiber coupler and an optical fiber alignment jig are provided to secure a broad bandwidth by dividing a downstream into a video downstream and a data/voice downstream. A 1x2N 3-wavelength optical fiber coupler is manufactured by using 2N+1 optical fibers(150,160,170,180,190), in order to reduce a change of wavelength-dependent loss in a 3-wavelength zone. The 1x2N 3-wavelength optical fiber coupler is manufactured by melting, fusing, and tensioning the 2N+1 optical fibers with a high-temperature heating source. The 2N+1 optical fibers are arranged in parallel to each other by using a jig. The 2N+1 optical fibers are melted, fused, and tensioned by using the high-temperature heating source.
