Abstract: PURPOSE: A solar lighting optical fiber module using a large core optical fiber is provided to secure high durability against high temperature while preventing environmental pollution since there is no epoxy. CONSTITUTION: A large core optical fiber and a connector for an SMA fix an optical fiber without epoxy. The connector for SMA is comprised of an SUS ferrule and a fitting and has high durability against high temperature and energy. The fitting fixes the optical fiber in the SUS ferrule by forming the hole for locking a screw to be narrower.

Abstract: A temperature sensitive and photosensitive fiber, a temperature-insensitive and photosensitive fiber and an optical fiber sensor using the same are provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by not using a hydrogen loading method. A photosensitive fiber is composed of a core region and a cladding region. The core region is doped with the photosensitive dopant and the temperature sensitive dopant. The photosensitive dopant changes a refractive index of the core region by the UV laser irradiation. The temperature sensitive dopant increases the coefficient of thermal expansion of the core region.
