Abstract: The present invention relates to a vent for smoke elimination, more specifically, to a high functional vent that can automatically open/close a vent installed high above a door for indoor ventilation, which can quickly prevent a poisonous gas from entering in case of a fire while preventing insects and crime at the same time when the vent is open. The present invention comprises: a ventilation opening (11) that is formed on window frame (10) on the upper part of the door (1); security grills for window (20) that have vent holes (20a) on the front of the window frame (10), which are coupled to screws (23); a screen (21) that is attached to the rear side of the security grills for window (20), which is fixed by a frame (22); a gate (30) that is on the rear side of the window frame (10), which is hinged (31) to open/close the gate; and a chain (42) that appears in the curved line from an opening/closing device (40), which is connected to the gate (30) for opening/closing of the gate.
