Abstract: An MIMO RF repeater and an operating method thereof are disclosed in the present invention. The MIMO RF repeater according to the present invention comprises a communications module for cyclically or acyclically reporting its channel information to a base station; a receiving antenna for receiving an analog signal of an RF band transmitted from the base station to which the channel information has been reported; an analog digital converter (ADC) for converting the received analog signal from a digital signal; a multiplier for separating a plurality of receiving channels from the converted digital signal; a digital analog converter (DAC) for converting the digital signal, from which the receiving channels are separated, into the analog signal; and a transmission antenna for transmitting the converted analog signal to a terminal within a corresponding service area.
