Abstract: PURPOSE: A power amplifier for improving output signal in a base station is provided to expand a coverage area with low costs by developing a 42.4W Quad PA with a 84.8W Quad PA. CONSTITUTION: A power splitter(102) is comprised of a driver amp and a power divider. A power amplifier(104) outputs amplified signals through a carrier AMP and a peaking AMP. The power amplifier amplifies the signal which is inputted to a power module in 84.8W of 4 channels. A combiner(106) combines the amplified RF signals with one signal to generate an output signal. An output module(108) transmit an RF signal corresponding to the output signal to an antenna through a low-pass filter.
