    Abstract: An advertisement method linking a rich media service and DMB is provided to enable a Rich Media server to provide additional advertisement information or the purchase process of a corresponding product in a predetermined Rich Media content type to a broadcasting receiver through a relay server and an advertisement server. A broadcasting system(110) provides a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) signal to a broadcasting receiver(130). The broadcasting receiver displays the received DMB signal on a screen and determines whether a selection command for selecting an advertisement image is inputted from a user. The DMB player of the broadcasting receiver drives a Rich Media player. A Rich Media player requests a Rich Media server(140) to provide additional advertisement information. The Rich Media server searches a corresponding server and transmits a media data request to a relay server(150). The relay server relays the request of the Rich Media server to an advertisement server. The advertisement server transmits the requested media data to the relay server. The relay server relays the received media data to the Rich Media server and stores an accurate account result received from the advertisement server. The Rich Media server generates Rich Media contents for the additional advertisement information by using the received media data, transmits the Rich Media contents to the broadcasting receiver, transmits and stores the generated Rich Media contents to the relay server. The Rich Media player reproduces and displays the received Rich Media contents and provides an additional Rich Media service.
