    Abstract: PURPOSE: A polypropylene master batch composition for a flame-retardant flexible electric wire pipe is provided to secure the excellent heat-resisting stability and UV stability by using tris(tribromoneopentyl) phosphate as a flame retardant, and to improve the impact strength. CONSTITUTION: A polypropylene master batch composition for a flame-retardant flexible electric wire pipe contains the following: 100 parts of base resin by weight formed with one compound selected from the group consisting of low-density polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene, and high-density polyethylene; 30~70 parts of fire retardant by weight formed with tris(tribromoneopentyl) phosphate; 5~30 parts of antimony oxide by weight; 0.5~5 parts of anti-oxidant by weight; and 0.1~5 parts of distearyl thiodipropionate, octadecyl-3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate, and zinc stearate by weight.

    Abstract: A nontoxic flame retardant cable composition, and a method for preparing a nontoxic flame retardant cable by using the composition are provided to improve flame retardancy and heat resistance. A nontoxic flame retardant cable composition comprises 70-100 parts by weight of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer; 10-30 parts by weight of a maleic anhydride resin containing the modified linear low density polyethylene; 130-200 parts by weight of aluminium hydroxide; 0.1-2 parts by weight of a first antioxidant; 0.5-1 parts by weight of 2H-benzimidazole-2-thione, 1,3-dihydro-4-methyl-, and zinc salt as a second antioxidant; 1-5 parts by weight of a coupling agent; parts by weight of a crosslinking agent; 1-3 parts by weight of a silane; 0.05-3 parts by weight of a catalyst; 0.5-3 parts by weight of a lubricant; and 2-4 parts by weight of calcium oxide.
