Abstract: A method and a system for sharing and managing state information in mobile terminals are provided to share and manage individual state information of each user and presence information common among users on mobile terminals and to synchronize mobile terminals. A system for sharing and managing state information in mobile terminals comprises mobile terminals(10,20), a service server(100), and a legacy unit(30). Each of the mobile terminals(10,20) expresses each user's state information and the other side's state information simultaneously. The service server(100) receives the first user's state information from the first terminal(10), transfers it to the second terminal(20), receives the second user's state information from the second terminal(20), transfers it to the first terminal(10), and synchronizes the state information of the first and second users in the first and second mobile terminals(10,20). The legacy unit(30), connected to the service server(100), provides the basic information and basic state information of mobile clients, who share state information in the mobile terminals(10,20), and executes data communication with the application programs of the mobile terminals(10,20).

Abstract: A method and a system for inserting data of an SMS/MMS message field is provided to utilize the empty space of a wireless message field as a new information transmission channel and to insert a wireless message and information data into a single wireless message space. A system for inserting data of a message field comprises a caller terminal(10), an SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(50), a data insertion service server(60), and an advertisement DB(80). The caller terminal(10) makes and sends an SMS message. The SMSC(50) receives the SMS message from the caller terminal(10) and transmits it to a receiver terminal(20). The data insertion service server(60), linked with the SMSC(50), judges whether the message field of the SMS message, transmitted from the caller terminal(10), has a spare space, and inserts information data additionally in the spare space if it is judged that the spare space exists. The advertisement DB(80), connected to the data insertion service server(60), stores information data to be inserted.
