Abstract: A food bank system using a logistics system utilizing a GIS(Geographic Information System) is provided to make an efficient distribution plan and transfer excessive food resources in the shortest time by computerizing information for excessive food resource suppliers with a GIS technology and utilizing the logistics system. A control server(110) comprises a web server(W110) including a food bank webpage(111), a demand processor(112), a geographic information part(115), a supply processor(116) and an Internet modem, and a database server(D110) including a demander database(D01), a digital map database(D04), a supplier database(D05) and a history database(D06). A manager terminal(120) comprises a manager tool(117), a GIS engine(118), a display device(119), and the Internet modem. A vehicle controller(113) and a route optimizer(114) are added to the web server, and a vehicle database(D02) and a road network database(D03) are added to the database server to form an effective system by monitoring a location of a delivery vehicle(400) in real-time.
