    Abstract: PURPOSE: A hollow wall structure using hollow balloons and a construction method thereof are provided to improve heat and sound insulation performance and to remarkably reduce the amount of concrete and frames. CONSTITUTION: A hollow wall structure using hollow balloons comprises a reinforced concrete wall(W), one or more hollow balloons(100), multiple connection rings, and fixing wires. The reinforced concrete wall comprises horizontal and vertical reinforcing bars and concrete. The hollow balloons are installed inside the reinforced concrete wall. Air is injected into the hollow balloons. The connection rings are formed on the outer surfaces of the hollow balloons. The fixing wires are inserted into the connection rings and fixed to the horizontal reinforcing bars and/or the vertical reinforcing bars.

The spacing blocks are arranged on the bottom surface of the form and separate the lower chords and the form. The latticed wires are connected to the horizontal reinforcing bars in a longitudinal direction and are arranged to be at right angles of the shear crack direction of slabs(2).

A plurality of truss girders is formed in plural rows on the upper part of a plate(D20) so that the deck plate is composed. The horizontal bar is installed by dividing into an upper horizontal bar and lower horizontal bar between the truss girders of the plural rows. One end of the vertical bar is joined to the upper part of the deck plate and middle and end parts are respectively joined to the upper and lower horizontal bars. The balloon is inserted into a balloon installing space formed by the upper and lower horizontal bars and two vertical bars. The upper part of the balloon is installed underneath the upper part of the truss girder. An injection hole(B1) is formed in one end of the balloon so that air or foaming molding materials are injected into inside the balloon.
