Abstract: PURPOSE: A peak power control method is provided to reduce public utility charges by suppressing maximum demand power. CONSTITUTION: A rising trend and continuous progress of electricity are analyzed during a peak power control process. A synchro with a predetermined synchronous time and peak data are analyzed. Whether peak power control commands are maintained is analyzed(S4). In case a predicted power does not exceed a target value and a current power does not exceed a standard value, the synchro with the predetermined synchronous time restarts. In case a predicted power does not exceed the target value and a current power does not exceed the standard value after a fixed second measurement time passes, the peak power control commands are cancelled before the predetermined synchronous time expires(S5).
